Jack P. Gunter, M.D. is author, co-author, or contributor to some of the most well regarded textbooks and medical journals in the plastic surgery and rhinoplasty fields. Along with Dr. Rod Rohrich and William P. Adams, MD, Dr. Gunter co-wrote what is generally looked upon as one of the definitive rhinoplasty textbooks, Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery by the Masters, 2nd Edition, Vol. 1 & 2. In these volumes, Dr. Gunter lends his considerable expertise to a number of subjects, including techniques in secondary and revision rhinoplasty procedures, often considered some of the most complex treatments in the field of plastic surgery.
Dr. Jack P. Gunter is one of the founding members of the internationally renowned Rhinoplasty Society, an organization based in Jacksonville, Florida that comprises rhinoplasty surgeons from around the world. The mission of the Rhinoplasty Society is to provide an open forum for surgeons who specialize in nasal surgery to exchange ideas and educate each other on new techniques.
In addition to the Rhinoplasty Society, Dr. Gunter is the co-chair of the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium, an annual meeting of plastic surgeons and otolaryngologists that has been taking place for more than 28 years. The conference is focused on educational presentations, lectures, panel discussions, and video sessions that feature basic techniques in rhinoplasty as well as the latest treatment advances.
